The Development Department provides necessary, stable financing for the university’s activities.

The department’s main functions and tasks are:

Securing financing for UCU’s operational and capital budgets
Coordinating fundraising activities with foundations and committees
Coordinating cooperation with private donors in Ukraine, the EU, USA, Canada, Great Britain, and Australia
Coordinating the university’s Comprehensive Development Campaign (2010 – 2016)
Organizing and conducting fundraising events in Ukraine and abroad (charity banquets, auctions, church collections)
Writing and submitting grant proposals to Ukrainian and foreign foundations and private and government organizations
Monitoring the execution of projects and preparing reports for donors
Expanding the existing network of UCU’s donors and partners and establishing new sources for financing
Providing consultation and help to UCU’s other structural subdivisions as they search for extra funds to aid their development
